This year marks our 20th anniversary and we're celebrating with a brand new 600sf purpose-built mastering suite. We love EQs and compressors as much as anyone, but the room is the most important thing, and a lot of work went into making this one a great one.
The entire ceiling and front and back 'walls' are massive bass traps. The modular side walls handle mid-range absorption, while the custom diffusors retain high frequencies and keep things sounding nice & natural.
The no-compromise acoustic design yields a uniformly short decay time and flat frequency response, which is all just a fancy way to say it sounds wonderful in here.

I want you to be 100% happy with your record so I don't charge for mastering revisions (within reason, and to date no one's been unreasonable). Please note that this means MASTERING (my work) revisions, if you decide a MIX (your work) needs changes after the mastering's been done, that's totally fine, but please understand that I have to charge extra for this, it takes time.
Lots more info at the FAQ.
Send me 24 bit (or 32 bit float) wav. or aiff. files at the sample rate of your session. If you mix with a compressor on the mix buss that's fine but please take the limiter off. Please leave a few dB of headroom (i.e. no clipping), peaking around -6 is great, but so long as you keep it below 0dBfs we're good. You can upload mixes here.
If you want to book a session or have a question about mastering just email me or fill out the form and I'll get back to you asap!
A lil bit about me...I'm Scott Craggs, I've been a musician forever, played a ton of shows with some great bands, slept on lots of floors, met lots of wonderful people, but mostly I've spent countless hours in the studio honing my craft.
I love music and recording, it's been amazing to work with so many great artists on so many terrific records.
When I'm not mastering records I make groovy space music, you can check it out here.
